As a kid I would spend my nights curled up reading books drawn by Bernard Waber and Ludwig Bemelmans. There was something so fascinating about the art that expressed the magic of city dwelling to a kid like me from Chicago.
From there my influences ranged from days watching Sailor Moon to evenings studying Paul Rand as I got my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After I graduated I continued my passions as an illustrator and designer working with clients such as Ragu and People Magazine.
Today I continue to focus my illustration and collaborate with companies and people I adore. I currently have works published for The Washington Post, Riot Fest, Vogue, Hello Giggles and The Nib and a personal column at Shondaland
Truth be told, I never thought I could make a career being a full time artist, yet here I am.
